PostSubject: End to a Great 2011 Season   Sun Jan 01, 2012 11:51 am

Well, my 2011 Season has been a great one! I moved back out to North Carolina in May of this year. Uncle Sam wanted me to be an instructor for all our new recruits, so I gladly accepted. I shot a few tournaments and did pretty well then got serious about preparing for archery season.
I had a pretty successful season for sure. Below are the deer I shot this year. Now remember Eastern NC deer aren’t as big as the deer I am used to hunting in MO and an average deer here weighs in around 90lbs.

2nd largest Buck ever! From Texas!

3rd largest buck. This one from NC.

I feel blessed to be able to hunt as much as I have and even more blessed to have been able to take so many animals this year with my archery tackle.
Equipment used: Bowtech Destroyer 350, FOBS, Victory Vforce V-1’s, Grim Reaper Broadheads, Alpen Optics, Sword Sights, & Vapor Trail Strings and rest!

Thanks! I've been working a lot and my computer time has been slim! Going to try harder in 2012!

We know life gets crazy and that gets worse during hunting season. and Welcome back. Congrats on the move. I have a sister that lives in Statesville, NC.

Will, you are right, God has filled the freezer for me and my family this year. I hope that I can be online more as well. I guess I have been out of the loop for a LOONNNGGG time. Archery Nation huh? I just noticed the name change. LOL! I just assumed it was still teamstarrflight.com as the website URL? Man I'm slow.

God is awesome to give us the things we need at the time they are needed and not a second before or after.

Yeah the Team Starrflight domain name is coming up for renewal and we figured the sight might get more members if we went to an all Archery venue instead of just a specified site. Now it will be a General Archery board and the change will happen in about a weeks time or so. All members will get an E-mail with the new domain name.

Will
