| Just for fun, I took a tether-ball that had gone flat and fulled it with Great-Stuff expanding foam. Hung it from a tree limb and fired away. If I hit it in the center, it actually stopped my arrows. If it was a little larger, say the size of a basketball, it would be perfect....Guess what my next target will be?? Moving targets are more fun!!!! |

| If you look olsen71 has several posts about this very subject here is one Build a Foam Target. I think there is more here someplace. Have fun with it like he said if it get too shot up you just fill in the holes with more foam. I think he also used it to patch up his 3D target as well.
Have fun with it.

Hi Dbllngr.
The foam I used was the one that said for gaps larger than one inch. Nothing special really. See below where vahunter has posted links to more info on using foam to make homemade targets. Looks like it is really easy. And, of course, far cheaper than store-bought. |

| I used the same stuff to fix my 3D deer target. I just filled all the gaps in the vitals area where I had shot it so much you could see through it. Worked very nicely. |
