| I just made a new foam deer target and its easy and cheap, so even you can do it I cut out a paper target..... Then I cut out the deer on a wood plate..... An old rubber band around the plate...... A little oil on the plate and rubber..... First time of foam..... 3 time of foam, let it dry good between each time..... 4 time of foam, only on the " hit" area..... Then remove the rubber band..... A roe deer is born...... A little painting..... A cheap target, less than 20 dollar and take a lot of arrows |

Just some oil you use in the kitchen, its more easy to get the foam of the wood plate with a little oil on it

| Just a little veggie oil cool Thanks olsen. How did the carpet experiment turn out? I like the pasting of the target to the front nice touch. Although I like the artistic ability on the happy roe deer It looks like it bonded fine, is there any difference in stopping power? Nice little petting zoo you have there and easy to feed Keep em coming olsen I like your thinking. Will |

| The carpet was a good thing, then you dont have to put a lot of foam on the "hit" area....... And the deer target is more easy to put up when its same size all over And if you after many arrows shoot through, then just cut the bad area out and fill in some new foam |

| What type of foam is that? The spray can you use to fill gaps around your house?
The rubber sheet would be hard to come by around here I think. Did you use it on the pig too? |

| Good to know olsen I think the carpet worked out then is it just one layer or is it doubled(carpet)?
Sounds good if you don't have to use as much foam you can make twice as many. You are very thrifty olsen thank for the information. as soon as I can I will try the olsen method of target making.

| I got the rubber band from a factory, but the first time I build a deer I used some hard paper and it worked..... But the rubber band I can use over and over The foam is the cheapest I can buy, used to set up doors and windows..... I think a carpet could work to put around the plate too, its just to stop the foam from going all over I put in 1 pice of carpet, but next time maybe 2 |
